Pay pal and skype

Unread postby Dwayne54 » Sun Jan 10, 2016 11:52 pm

Hi,

The other night I decided to pay a very small fee for a cam show through skype. The woman was from the Philippines and I was assured she was of age. I payed her through Paypal - which I think would at least have an email or my name. Things started and I called it off after 30-45 seconds, with me only being exposed for about 10 seconds. I told her I had changed my mind and didn't feel good about it. She then went offline.

My skype account isn't an email linked to any social media, though I'm sure she may have that information through a very small paypal payment. It was a few days ago and I haven't heard anything. I've also deactivated facebook in the mean time. That was almost 2 days ago.

I guess my question is - am I in the clear? I was never threatened to send money, there were no sob stories and everything was mostly direct. Just want to be better safe than sorry. Though, in all honesty I am incredibly sorry.

http://blackmailscams.com Go here, read, and DO ALL of the steps. Consider every online account compromised, as well as your paypal account. Change all accounts after staying offline a month minimum.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

Thanks! I went ahead and filled out the form and followed the steps.

I guess my question is that no one ever tried to get money from me aside from my initial offer. I wasn't shown a (very) brief video of myself, and I never added anyone strange on facebook or any other sites. This was over 48 hours ago - google alerts hasn't show me anything either. Is there a fair chance I wasn't scammed at all and am just taking extra precautions.

Thanks for the help!

Better safe than sorry. We received your form but are not posting it, as we could find no information that it definitely a scammer. You dodged a bullet I think. Learn from it. Scammers are everywhere online, and anyone putting themselves in a position to be scammed will eventually run into one.
