Without having some of the E-mails from each of the scam characters it is hard to exactly tell how the scam works.
The images you received are probably stolen from someone's real life social media page.
There are ways to fake video calls to make them seem real.
It is possible that the scammer is using their real life images but it's not usually the case.
Since you stated that if you give the fake website money you cannot get it back.
I suspect the woman's profile does a romance type scam and then tells the victim about this great opportunity to invest their money.
They then refer the victim to the fake investment website.
When the Victim sends money to the fake site it is stolen.
This can take the form of any payment method like Western Union, Bitcoin, or Bank transfers.
