lifeengineer3@gmail.com
DOB 11/25/1964
What site/app did you first meet the scammer on?: Hinge online dating site.
What email address(es) did the scammer use?: lifeengineer3@gmail.com
What phone number(s) did the scammer use?: (757) 744-4326

Briefly explain what happened during the scam. :
I met Lambert Leon on the online dating website HINGE on 1/10/21.
We started talking on the site until few days later he asked me to move the conversation to Google hangouts.
We talked every day and night on the Google app.
He supposedly was on a ship in a business trip to Australia but the ship had mechanical problems and found out that sea pirates were very close to them.
They supposedly arrived to Aegean island and had to ship all their belongings afraid that the sea pirates were going to steal everything and he asked me if he could send his belongings to my house because he didn't have any family or friends.
I received an email from Fast Premium Logistics asking for a $XXXXXXX to cover insurance fees for his 18kg package.
He was in panic saying that he put all his money in the package and was not able to pay for this fee.

Bitcoin wallet Address : 1HaZ9NMm9Cv448VEDJrLzHk3srMoXXXXXX

I received another email from the shipping company saying that the package was on hold because of the non inspection certificate electronic code was missing and in order for the package not to be inspected a fee of $27,900 was needed immediately.
He asked me to please help him and that he would pay me everything as soon as the package arrives to my house.
I called the Bitcoin company and let them know that it was a scam.

Hello Sir / Ma,
We are deeply sorry for the delay yesterday, my wife and I applied for a mortgage loan today and we are hoping to hear from them as soon as possible.
the reason why my wife didn't write the company today is because she is a little bit busy.
she will get to you people as quickly as she can..

Fast Premium Logistics - fastpremiumlogistic.com

Unread postby firefly » Sun Feb 28, 2021 7:53 am

The fake courier used claims to be Fast Premium Logistics and uses a fraudulent website active from the domain name fastpremiumlogistic.com.

From the fake website:

Fast Premium Logistics is a privately owned, premier international freight forwarder, delivery and logistics service provider.

Our global regional hubs offer a wide range of mission-critical technology, logistic, IT and security services to clients and its partners overseas. Through our overseas secure services to more than 250 diplomatic offices, across 160 countries, we support around 14,000 staff globally, as well as many more from other government departments co-located at posts under the One HMG ethos. We provide complete confidence that information and goods are where they need to be, when they need to be, uncompromised.

Our history incorporates more than 800 years of ensuring the Government’s diplomatic mail is protected. This means we are experts in ensuring mail and materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there, securely and without compromise.

Our diplomatic courier services, known as the Queen’s Messengers, make sure sensitive material is always kept safe throughout its entire journey.

Contact details:

Suite 1600, 1330 Post OAK BLVD Houston, Texas, 77056, United States.

Number billable as geographic number

City or exchange location Dallas, TX
Original network provider* Southwestern Bell

The line about "more than 800 years of ensuring the Government’s diplomatic mail is protected" is, of course, a lie. Same as the idea that a "diplomatic courier services, known as the Queen’s Messengers" is located in Texas.

The fake site is used to defrauding romance scam victims since 2019 and it will be likely used few months longer, while the identity of the fraudsters is hidden under the privacy protection given by the Registrar Namecheap.

From a Survivor:

Do you think you can check this link?
I received it today but of course I didn’t check anything. Maybe it’s a virus or something?
It’s from the same person Lambert Leon. Maybe it’s more valuable information in another way they operate.

The fraudster sent that link and his login details to the victim, as a proof he has money in his bank account and he is able to repay the financial help he is asking about.

The bank is fake. His bank account with that bogus bank is also fake.

The fake character used in fraud:

Lambert Leon
Address: 6931 Dabneys Mill, Manquin, Virginia, 23106, United States
Email: lifeengineer3@gmail.com
Phone: +1 (757) 744‑4326

From the fake website:

So we treat you and your money the way we all want to be treated—with respect. How do we do it? With simple ways to spend, save, and manage your money better. From teaching your high schooler how to set up and use a checking account to helping you buy your first home, we’ll be there, right by your side. Because, at Bartonex Bank, we believe respecting you and your money is the first step on the journey to prosperity.

Lambert Leon
Phone # 5713055755
On Upward Christian Dating Site
He reached out on April 29th using images of the same man shown: Joao Baiao. The daily morning and night love bombing continued for 7 days. He recently told me that he was being sent to sea and wanted to use Google Hangouts to communicate while he was away. He gave me the address lifeengineer@gmail.com. When I googled the email address is when I found this site. (Thank you). Yesterday he asked for my full name and address to send flowers and "a gift". I explained I don't receive gifts and gave him nothing. He did tell me about the "pirates" . These piratews were the reason ship mates had to use alternative form of communication. After reading the posts here, I was warned before his ship set sail. "Due to leave tomorrow".

Glad you found us before you fell victim to the scammer.
You should stop all contact with the scammer.
Do not tell him you know he is a scammer.
Then be careful of any new contact from anyone you do not know because the scammers often try again.

Is there any other information you can add to this topic?
