This section deals specifically with online romance scams. The images used by the scammers are stolen from innocent people, usually from their social media pages.
Hi , Thank you for the information. If the images you sent of yourself are not nudes then it is doubtful they will be used for anything unless you happen to be above average looking. There are some instances where scammers will create a scam character using a previous victims name, images etc.
You should stop all contact with the scammer. Do not tell him you know he is a scammer. Do not try to close his TikTok and other free profiles. They just create new ones that are not reported anywhere in minutes.

You can send the other information to me at my E-mail address below.
We do not accept the work of other anti-scam websites so unless we can independently confirm the scammers real name we won't leave it on our site.
We have no way of knowing how they gained the name without doing our own confirmation.

I received a friend request on Facebook from someone using this man's photo. They messaged me saying they want to get to know me. I did a search that brought me here. The Facebook account is under Hutchison Brown.
Hutchison Brown's Facebook account lists the email address as brianphilips057@gmail.com. lives in Houston, TX. Posts about God and faith. Shows 1 mutual friend and no others. I have photos but screenshots are too large to attach.
Okay so I get this guy but under Andrew james, that he was an Rank E-7 staff sergeant in u.s army and was deployed in damascus, Syria and has been there for 9months already. That his parents died when he was young and couldn’t really much and that he was an orphan. He would sent me perfect good morning message with a rose attachment, would call me queen, baby and love, wanted to get marry and have kids with me and that he missed me so much and that he had to keep it a secret that he was talking to me because he wasn’t allowed and could lose his job and then after a week he asked me for $ saying he had to paid something and if he didn’t he wouldn’t be able to write to me. He would talk in 3rd person, mess some simple words or he would almost copy and paste the message. About how he was over there and the us army would provide him with everything and would get deposited 22k each month to an bank of amarica account. He video called my through Instagram but for like a 1 min and would call me too but the same would hang up super fast. Oh he even send me a video of him playing guitar.

Ok, what they do is have the victim scratch off the code numbers and give the numbers to the scammer. The scammer cashes the code in and gets the money.

I have been talking to him for three years trying to get him arrested. I have contacted the police, FBI, and IRS because he filed taxes in my name. Not to mention the money I spent on Google cards.
