The back of the travel voucher now reads (in VERY small print) "A ninety minute travel presentation is required". So this is very likely to get the recipient to attend a timeshare seminar.

My wife and I did something similar to this many years ago when we were first starting out. There really was no scam but the seminar to get the travel voucher was about the highest pressure sales pitch I have ever been subjected to. How painful was it you ask? Let me just say that at this point in my life, it isn't worth the price of two plane tickets, and I am by no means rich.

If you don't mind putting up with a hardcore sales team in your face for 2 hours, it might be a very good deal.
