Hi, iv been scammed 48 hours back,and im freaked out,im from India,scammer said he/she is from japan and scammers name was miyoko makazawa. I deactivated my fb account and blocked her,i unfriended everyone from my list,i blocked her from skype and fb,but i just want to know where do these people upload these videos,how can i search them on youtube? plz reply thanks in advance

From what I have learnt so far they usually have your name as the video title. My scammer uploaded the video to Dailymotion and told me he would upload it to youtube so they might be the best places to look.

One of the best pieces of advice this forum teaches is to set up a google alert with your name in it so that if anything doe s appear you will know about it.

I'm 3 days into my scam and still nothing, don't worry buddy the guys on this site are awesome and know what they are talking about, if you follow their instructions you will be just fine! All the best!

Thank you guys for your quick response,i tried to search in youtube, dailymotion and few porn sites too, there was no video of my name,its been 3 days since i had a good sleep thinking about this,i have no contact with the scammer but i have a fear that they have my video, as you people said ill setup google alerts thanks a lot for your suggestions.

Many people have that fear after an experience with that, as long as you follow the guidelines set here, you should be ok. Just try to be confident the people year have dealt with thousands of cases. Read around, learn more about how you can protect your self. Try not to worry, this is a learning experience just try to keep your head up and try to relax.

What site did you first meet the scammer on?: facebook
If they asked you to leave the site , where did they take you to?: skype
How much money did they demand?: 1000$
How were you to send the money ?: western union
What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: Deleted all facebook contacts first and deactivated facebook and blocked scammer, blocked the scammer in skype.

Hi guys,this is 4th day after i was scammed.No msgs from the scammer since the,i ve setup google alerts and .informed few close friends of mine to keep tracking if they get any link and to flag it asap.Im feeling a lot better now.

After 4 days, chances are very slim that any video exists still or will be uploaded, bit stick to the steps for 2 weeks to be sure.

Thank you so much for your kind help guys,im getting better day by day after the scam,but still have a fear somewhere that scammers vll show up,but i jus blocked them from where they contacted me,i dint pay them any money,i said if you want to upload go ahead im a man i don't care,though i was pissed off i thought he/she would think that uploading the video doesn't make any difference to me,thanks a lot for this website which gave me more strength.Ive taken all the steps mentioned there except for reporting to local police.
