Sextortion survivors voices

Hi, My name is Angus Crawford. I'm a reporter for BBC News. I am working on a report about so called "sextortion". Over the last year I have been reporting on various aspects of online exploitation. I was in the Philippines in November looking at what they call their the "cyber sex" industry. I was also told whilst there that the "sexploitation" gangs were becoming increasingly sophisticated. I hope to go back out soon to see how police and NGOs are tackling the problem. I am also aware that these scams are being organised from places like Morocco. I would of course very much like to give a voice in my report to those who have suffered most at the hands of these criminals. If you are a survivor of such a scam I would love to hear from you. I would be interested to tell about my story relating to Philippines. I was chatting to this guy in Gay romeo.
This guy with the following details had recorded my video and demanding money.

he sent me message at first commenting about what i had written on my profile and when he was chatting with me, he urged me to talk over skype.
Here are the details that he gave:

+17204436312 is the phone number.

He asked to transfer money to following account on western union money transfer.

After i transfered he asked me to wait for 50 minutes to confirm if they had received the money in hand. And then he was saying they did not receive, but i have got a confirmation that the money was picked up. He did not delete and was asking for more money. When i refused he threatened to upload video in all porn sites. I did not care about it and hence told him he can do what ever he wants.

The reporter is away on holidays at the moment. When he gets back I'll have a word with him. He may only want UK residents. I'll check with him and get back to you.

I would be willing to share my story. This happened to me last night... I am very thankful for this site. I deactivated my facebook, deleted my google+ my linkedin, just about any social media account I have. Very big eye opener for me.
