Hopefuly I found this site. I had the same situation as many of you have. I did everything what should do but there is only thing that I am really curious. Any friends or family members of you have recieved ur video or photos ? I am trying to being cool but sometimes it kills me.

What country/city were you told to send the money to?: morocco
How were you to send the money ?: Western union
What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: just blocked from skype and he add me from another name later. I also blocked it.
Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: He said me he got all my friends and family members addresses from fb but they only sent me my family members links. However some of them werent my friends on fb.

If you follow the steps to the letter, the chances are over 99.9% in your favor.

just blocked from skype and he add me from another name later

You need to logout of your skype, and do not login again for 2 weeks. This is one of the steps.

Got scammed Jan24th, 2015 and just never had dialog with the scumbags..I just shut down everything including FB, EM, except my cell Phone. 4 days later calls are coming in on Cell phone with no phone number..Next morning getting calls again! I just got a new number. screw them! NEVER WILL I NEGOTIATE WITH A CYBER TERRORIST!!! I don't care about someone idiot post a video of me with my junk in my hands I'm human being and men do stupid things when it comes to visual sexual stimulation. Close it all down, and move on. My friend today gets multiple phone calls to his cell and he know what's happening because I told everyone. They laughed at me! They think it's funny. It's embarrassing to say the least but there is much worse things that can happen to someone that this would be an easy trade in if you had a choice. My friend then gets a photo of a hand holding his stuff, not even my photo, go figure. He deleted it and blocked the caller. They will use any tactic to try and break your will and feed off of your fears. Be a tough soldier and hod ground and NEVER GIVE UP...I never saw any link to a video as I didn't give them a chance to poison my mind.

They actually got a Google number which anyone can get and point it to their actual cell phone. They can use as many as they want as a disposable phone number with no tracking. Here is the one this scammer was using to contact friend.402-515-5735. They come in waves as they try to see which technique will make you crack. They are not going to get a penny from me and you should do the same. Yes, it sucks to be a victim of extortion and I was very upset for the lapse of judgement when I exposed myself. We are human beings and sexual creatures that are meant to explore and try different things. This was bad because you never expect someone will threaten you harm in such a situation.
It's a great learning experience and life goes on. I'm still in the heat of battle and not know what to expect next is like being on the front lines in a battle. Just have to dig int the trenches and hold your ground. You will win as it will waste their time fighting against a tough soldier. They need to prey on the weak which unfortunately, will make them all their money. I thank Wayne and all the moderators who volunteer their time helping everyone who is experiencing this gut wrenching personal invasion of their privacy. It does make getting through the battle easier to deal with. My hats off to all the current survivors who all get a medal of honor for standing ground and helping others get through this tough situation. It's been one week since I saw the Skype writing pop up about the video and hopefully this will pass soon so I can move on to something more productive. Getting my official Divorce after 25 years of Marriage next week. It's been a year of waiting and this crap has to happen. We have our agreement signed off 8 months ago and this is just the Final stage where the Judge signs off. This is such a ridiculous distraction form the celebration I will have next week.

Hey, well I was a victime of the same type of scam. I havent been able to move forward yet, since it was very recently. Im still on the phase of being unable to removed the thoughts of this person uploading the video or appearing once again, however I think I had a good reaction to the scam, since I inmediatly blocked this person and didnt gave him any money.

The hardest part is how the event mess with your head many days after, im very glad to find this place to recover from the trauma. I already report to this website the f/b name of the scamer.
