Briefly explain what happened during the scam. : This man pretended to be a Process Engineer on a Fortes Oil Rig in the North Sea. Over a period of a month he convinced me his engineering project was failing and that due to COVID he was unable to access funds in his business account. His business and reputation would be damaged if I didn't help him.

Met Chris Sidwell on Tinder in April 2021.
Immediately after we matched he asked to switch to the Viber messenger.
On the same day he wrote a long description about himself. Just publishing part of it.
“My name is Christopher Sidwell, I am a mixture of Norwegian and American. My Father is from Riverside Ca...while mum is from Bergen Norway...which is where I was born. I was an only child born to very loving parents. I grew up and lived in quite a few countries(including Norway, South Africa and Germany) as a result of my dads job. I am 50 years but people say I look younger and truly I do feel younger. I am single(widowed) and have been for a while. I got married 21 years ago to a woman I dated back in the university where we both studied. She already had a baby boy but I accepted him as my own. Our marriage did not bring about any more kids but I loved her and we stayed together. We had such a wonderful family filled with bliss and love until 2015 when I lost her to cancer. It was a really big loss for us all and a horrible period for me and I went through so much pain as I could not imagine a life without her. My step son eventually went back to his own biological father as they both have been in good terms even while we were together. I have gone solo recently and had previously made a decision to move over to this region as I identified lots of opportunities and potentials in my field. I have lived and worked in many countries especially In the Americas and Asia due to my job but now I want to live a more settled life which I can afford as I am becoming my own boss. I am a Process Engineer by profession and have worked for a few companies/multinationals gathering experiences in different sectors and fields, so made a good decision to break out and become independent as this would give me time for myself and the things that matter. “

After a few days of intensive communication he has informed that he needs to travel to the 40s oil rig in the North Sea to fix the project.
After he went there he informed me that the parts, which were installed earlier have been were used and that his friend who made procurement was let him down and supplied used parts.
He said that his friend Roy Bowen is handling his money in the US, but he is not responding to his messages.
After a day or two he has said that Roy had a car accident and is in coma.
However he has managed to buy the parts, but when he has started to make the transfer for freight services to freight the parts from China his bank account was blocked. He called the bank but it could not be fixed.
Then he started to ask that he needs help to raise the money to make the freight of the parts.
Also he said that he lived in the house of his friend Jonathan in Copenhagen.
