I allowed a contact from South Africa on Skype. Name:Yasmine Smith

Usual sad story. I am an 'old' lonely man -just getting over a happy 42 years marriage followed by the death of my wife 7 1/2 years ago.
The nice South African young lady chatted on Skype-and we used Video -but she did not have mic. or speakers.
Lost her ID-was aPresbytarian so would not come to visit unless marriage offered-Fine by me. To get visa to visit Europe needed to go to Accra [She said she was anurse from SA working in Kumasi for 3 years}.

Sent prettry [not porn} photos and ones of Parents killed in road accident years before.
I paid for Accra trip by bus.
Then OHWES Ltd Travel Agents asked for money for:- Visa [750 euros] told me only return ticket allowed in Ghana
and -very cleverly-phoned me daily with info. on progress of Visa.
Luckily my 14 year old Grand-daughter in New Zealand did some images checks.
Relatively innocuous photo I had received turned up as Intro to Josie.com -a Canadian {?] Porn site. Two other images turned up from Russia.
Between me and my security software -All traces now deleted and purged.
Yasmine Smith is a Scammer as are OHWES Ltd [not in Accra Business Directory].
I only paid emotionally and not much financially

Apparently your friend is at it again, now using the name Sarah Mensah and the email address mensah.sarah74@yahoo.com. The current phone number being used is 011-233-546370646. She skyped me (sarahmensah950) out of the blue 2 weeks ago and we started talking, and she quickly proclaimed love for me after an initial exchange of pictures. Since she claimed to be a nurse in training in Ghana, initially I thought I'd hear her out, despite the fact that her grammar was atrocious. I started to get suspicious when she told me she was living with her grandmum after her parents had perished in an auto accident and that her father was English and her mom was Asante. That simply did not add up against the pictures. First she asked me for $200 because her birthday was coming up, but I told her no, this was not a pay week, then she asked for $650 because her grandmum had bills piling up and was about to get kicked out. Couple this with the fact that she was asking for pictures of my car and my salary information and I got suspicious. A simple search turned up pictures of the same girl the scammer had been claiming to be. I just cut this off, without giving this person any money, and will be on my guard for future similar scams.
