How can a scammer easily “fake” an email address?
It’s as simple as this. Â Use a fake email address as the name and you get this:
From: “info@diamondbankplc.com” <diamon_bankplc1991@yahoo.com>
By doing that, the email appears to be from “info@diamondbankplc.com” as can be seen by this image:
That’s how easy it is to appear to be a legitimate company.
